About Us

Founded in 1956, Waialua Little League is one of the oldest continuously operating youth baseball leagues in Hawai‘i. For nearly 70 years, we have proudly served families from Wahiawā, Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Airfield, Waialua, Haleʻiwa, and Sunset Beach, becoming a cornerstone of youth sports on the North Shore.

Generations of families have passed through our program. Grandparents once cheered from the sidelines. Parents once wore the jersey. Today, their keiki step onto the same field — continuing a tradition built on community pride, hard work, and aloha.

Waialua Little League was built by volunteers — by parents, coaches, and community leaders who believed that baseball teaches more than how to hit or throw. It teaches accountability. It teaches teamwork. It teaches perseverance. It teaches respect.

We are committed to:

Developing character and leadership in every player
Providing a safe, structured, and positive environment
Promoting sportsmanship, integrity, and discipline
Building confidence both on and off the field
Strengthening the bond between families and community

From Tee Ball through our upper divisions, every child is given the opportunity to grow, compete, and belong. We believe every keiki deserves a place to play — regardless of skill level or experience.

Our home field at Pūʻiki Beach Park stands as a symbol of that tradition. We are deeply grateful to the Waialua Community Association for their partnership and support in helping us preserve youth baseball in our community.

As one of Hawai‘i’s historic leagues, we take our responsibility seriously. We honor the past, but we are equally committed to building a stronger future. Through dedicated volunteer leadership, engaged families, and community support, Waialua Little League continues to evolve while staying true to the values that have defined us since 1956.

This is more than a league.
It is a legacy.
